Guidelines for Installation of HP LaserJet 1000 Driver on Windows

Windows XP
Firefox:
1. Make sure that the printer and the PC are not connected via a USB cable just yet.
2. Download the driver by clicking on the download button.
3. Click the Save File button when a popup window shows up.
Note: It may take a few minutes to download the driver file, depending on your connection speed.
4. Once the download is successful, begin installation by double-clicking on the file.
5. Click OK if you see an Open Executable File window shows up.
Note: As the file is compressed, it needs to be extracted first.
6. Onscreen instructions will be prompted; make sure you follow each one of them.

Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10
Firefox:
